This was a painting from about 6 years ago that I went back into. Originally being figurative, I masked it, because it felt too sensitive even though I liked the directness of the gesture. Now it is what it is. I am enjoying the fact that I am getting more into color again. With a high gloss enamel, straight oil paint, gold paint, and glazed oil paint, the diamond shapes reflect differently at different angles.
